in Mineral Point, ALLEY STAGE is an
experience quite unlike any you have ever had. You may have been
to outdoor theatres before, but not one so intimate. With only
120 seats, you are always almost within reach of the actors – a
proximity that absorbs you into the story in a most exhilarating
way.
And speaking of stories – ours are original. At ALLEY STAGE
you will see world premieres of new plays by Wisconsin playwrights
and by playwrights from coast-to-coast. Dramas, comedies, mysteries.
And you’ll meet come to know our respected company of professionally
trained actors.
For a special treat, come early. Picnic surrounded by our 2 ½ acres
of gardens, and tour the historic buildings of Shake Rag Alley.
Performances are scheduled at 8 p.m. Thursday – Sunday, June,
July and August.
