July 4th
Mineral Point puts on a party every July Fourth in honor of our country’s independence. We start off the day with a 2 and 5 mile run – Getting’ the Lead Out! A parade makes its way down High Street to an enthusiastic crowd. A special treat is the traditional flag raising done each year by the Mineral Point Fire Department.
Music. Food Games. And Fireworks round out a day of celebration that makes Mineral Point stand out as a classic example of small town America. We hold these events on the 4th – no matter what day of the week.
