The Iowa County Fairgrounds
hosts a variety of activities each year, including the Annual Iowa
County Fair, one of the oldest county fairs in the
state, is held each Labor Day weekend, beginning on Thursday and
ending on Labor Day. Look for large numbers of livestock exhibits
and judging, grandstand entertainment, harness racing, and a fully
equipped midway with rides and concessions. 2006 marks the 150
th Anniversary Year for the fair.
The Wisconsin High School Regional Rodeo and
is held on the second weekend of August each year. It features
twelve exciting events as well as specialty acts.
Harness
racing is a favorite activity for residents and visitors alike.
The races are held in June and September at the Iowa County Fair-grounds.
