Arts Mineral Point is about continuing a rich local arts legacy spanning eight decades. It’s about helping resident artists realize their goals. It’s about complimenting existing arts tourism efforts. It’s about drawing artists here to live and thrive for generations to come. It’s about increasing the vibrancy and awareness of the arts scene. The Mineral Point Historical Society is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the unique history of Mineral Point. Its headquarters is the beautiful 19th century Italianate mansion and grounds known as Orchard Lawn. Tours of this estate are available June – October or by special arrangements during the rest of the year. The Society also sponsors events and programs for the community throughout the year and rents the facilities for private events, especially weddings.
Shake Rag Alley offers year round arts and crafts classes and events, inspiring creativity for people of all ages. This 2.5 acre beautiful garden oasis is open for strolling through the grounds and enjoying peaceful ambiance. Ask about hosting private events here and at the nearby Lind Pavilion.
