You may have heard of choux pastry (that’s pâte à choux, if we’re feeling fancy) on The Great British Baking Show—and at The Book Kitchen, we’re big fans. Choux is one of those magical doughs that’s fun to make but feels like a baking superpower once you know how. It’s the base for elegant éclairs and cream puffs, but we’re giving it a savory spin in this class.
We’ll make gougères—light, airy cheese puffs with Wisconsin cheese melted right into the dough. These little bites are golden, crisp, and irresistibly snackable. You’ll learn to mix, cook, and bake in this hands-on class. And go home with skills (and snacks!).
