Chainmaille is an ancient art form used for flexible armor, found as far back as the 5th century BC in Scythia (an area between Europe and Asia). Using small pliers in each hand to open and close metal rings around each other, we form a pattern. The helm weave is a basic weave that is the basis for many different weaves. I will show you how to properly open and close jump rings and weave them into a beautiful helm chain bracelet. You will be able to choose between stainless steel and/or several colors of anodized aluminum to make you bracelet in the length you need. Class fee includes all supplies.
