Chainmaille is an ancient art form that was used as flexible armor and has been found to be used as far back as the 5th century BC in Scythia (an area between Europe and Asia). In this class I will teach you how to weave a very easy basic chainmaille bracelet that is the basis for many other chainmaille weaves. You will learn how to properly open and close jump rings and weave them together to make a bracelet in the color and width you would like and take it home with you. You can choose from stainless steel rings and/or several different colors of anodized aluminum rings. Class fee includes all supplies.
