St Piran's Day

In celebration of St Piran’s Day  a pasty lunch and program will be held at the Walker House in Mineral Point  on Sunday March 3 from 12:30-3:00.  Saint Piran is the patron saint of miners in Cornwall and there is always a big celebration much like St Patrick’s Day for the Irish.  

The Southwest Wisconsin Cornish Society will celebrate St.  Piran’s with a pasty meal and  music by the Cough Singers.

There will also be a silent auction of gift items and books from the former Cornish Shop operated by Cornish Bard, Catherine Whitford.  All proceeds support the Annual Cornish Festival in Mineral Point Sept 27-29, 2024.
