Three-Dimensional Wet Felted Bird Pods

Explore the process of wet felting around balloons to create hollow vessels for bowls or bird pods or anything else you may imagine. We will explore felting over a resist, creating texture with bamboo, silk, flax, wool locks and nepps, angelina, as well as various specialty wool and yarns. On day two we will embellish your vessel by needle felting in accents and locks, rolling wool roping, and putting the final touches on your finished product! Come play with the “wonders of wool”. You should have a basic understanding of the process of wet felting.

The materials fee will cover a variety of colored wool choices, wool locks, nepps, angelina, bamboo, silk, and flax, providing materials to create magic for yourself, your family, and winged friends.
