Tours at Orchard Lawn
Looking for a historical house tour? Look no further! Enjoy an hour long tour of beautiful Orchard Lawn – a lovely 1868 historic home on nine acres, which includes gardens and an arboretum.
The building, once home to the Gundry family, was built in the Italianate style and features a beautiful, expansive front porch, tall arched windows and a distinctive belvedere. The front door, set between stained glass windows, opens to a foyer with a grand staircase. A library, formal parlor, and dining room feature high ceilings, elaborate woodwork, historic furniture and artifacts. After numerous restorations, the entire 9-acre estate remains as beautiful today as it was at the turn-of-the 20th Century. Guests can enjoy rotating exhibits each summer. In 2025, expect to see the newest exhibit: "In the Service of the Gundrys" a collection of photos and stories about the men and women who tended to the needs of the Gundry family – their daily life in the house, the servant spaces, and how they interacted with the Gundry family.
