About Us
American Wine Project is a nationally-recognized winery focusing on crafting complex wines from locally sourced, cold-climate hybrid grapes. Winemaker Erin Rasmussen has worked extensively in the Napa and Sonoma counties in California. She received her Masters Degree in Oenology and Viticulture from Lincoln University in Christchurch, New Zealand and worked in that country for 18 months. AWP is excited to offer Mineral Point and the Driftless region an inviting, family-friendly destination for great wine and beer, small plate food choices, community events, and a beautiful patio and outdoor garden.
