About Us
The Mineral Point Historical Society is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the unique history of Mineral Point. Its headquarters is the beautiful 19th century Italianate mansion and grounds known as Orchard Lawn. Tours of this estate are available June – October or by special arrangements during the rest of the year. The Society also sponsors events and programs for the community throughout the year and rents the facilities for private events, especially weddings.
